Nexus was founded by Division I athletes who saw their teammates receive real NIL money and waste the opportunity they were given, rather than take advantage of it. We played at elite programs such as the Naval Academy, North Carolina, Texas, Villanova, and UC Davis. We paired those experiences with strong backgrounds in engineering, operations, and finance, creating a product to help as many college athletes as we can.
Our mission is to make sure every athlete is supported in their financial education and execution, to ensure that they are protected and their financial foundation is secure. Nexus is there for the athlete.

Our Team
Nexus is built by a team that is almost entirely former Division I athletes, people who saw the problem with their friends and inside the locker room. That experience has shaped everything we build, from our curriculum to how a contract is broken down for an athlete. We’re a small, dedicated group of individuals working out of the heart of the Bay Area, backed by some of the smartest minds in Silicon Valley.
